My culture.My tradition.
In my DNA there is the indelible mark of two family groups.
When I move to the United States I can change languages.Eat different things.Change my way of dressing.But what will never change is who I am and that identity is represented by two surnames.
Unfortunately, official U.S. registration documents only leave room for one last name.This is a problem for most Latinos who consider both surnames essential to honor our culture and our roots.
You can help preserve our Latino culture by asking that we be allowed to keep our two last names:
